Please be aware that the Junior Dressage Test Prelim 12 specified in the BRC 2013 Rule Book is the 2002 test, however BRC have informed me that they will be using the 2005 version of P12.

Please take note of this.

Area 22 Camp is being held from the 31st May to the 2nd June at Auchlishie. Our new Area 22 Secretary Jacqui Macadam is the organiser of this and has already emailed out all clubs.

We are extremely grateful to Ladyleys Riding Club and Buchan Riding Club who have again stepped up and offered to host this year’s Dressage and Show Jumping Qualifying and Non Qualifying Area competitions with the details as follows:

Riding With Confidence Talks
Hypno-psychotherapist Jane Brindley who specializes in helping riders who struggle with their confidence is planning a series of talks this autumn on ‘Riding with Confidence’ to raise funds for The Brooke Animal Hospital.
Topics covered include: general riding confidence, coping when things are difficult, competition nerves, recovering from accidents, mental rehearsal and relaxation etc.

Talks are interesting, informative and informal with plenty of opportunity to learn and ask questions.
